Praise Reports...
Hallelujah! I get so excited when God allows me to witness new souls
entering into His Kingdom! I just want to give Him all the Praise and all
of the Glory because it is Him that is doing it, not me! God is
raising up some mighty women of God! Tearing down the walls that have kept
them bound in captivity! It is awesome to see God at work in the lives of
these young ladies! It is awesome to see these young lives change as we are able to minister
to them week after week.
Hallelujah! It makes me want to praise Him! Read below and see what
is happening and you will want to praise Him too!
May 27, 2007 seventeen of these young ladies accepted
Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! Praise the Lord! Now that is
what it is all about!
November 17, 2007 three more of these young ladies accepted Jesus Christ as their
Lord and Savior! Praise the Lord!
December 16, 2007 two more of these young ladies accepted Jesus Christ as their
Lord and Savior! Praise the Lord!
April 6, 2008 six more of these young ladies accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord
and Savior! Praise the Lord!
April 13, 2008 two more of these young ladies accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord
and Savior! We give Jesus all of the Glory!
April 23, 2008 - another girl accepted Jesus Christ during Bible Study! God
is moving in this place and it is awesome!
Whenever a young lady gets saved she gets a certificate that has the day that she
accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, along with a paper that reminds her
of the following:
She is: A Daughter of the King (2 Corinthians 6:18); a Peacemaker (John 14:27),
More than a Conqueror (Romans 8:37); Created for Good Works (Ephesians 2:10); Heir
of the Promise (Galatians 3:29); Light of the World (Matthew 5:14) and Victorious
in Christ (Isaiah 54:17).
They all
got certificates so that when the devil tries to tell them that they did not really
get saved, they can look at their certificate and boldly tell him that he is a liar
and that they now belong to Jesus Christ! Praise God! That is what
it is all about!
That is
why we come and minister to these young ladies every Sunday afternoon!

IF WE FOCUS ON GOD
IT WILL BE GREAT
IN 2008!
The number eight means "new" beginning. But, you know, in order to get the new you
have to get rid of the old! There are old "dead" things and there are fresh, "new"
things that God wants to give us. Dead things must be buried before new things can
come forth. Bury those things in your past that is keeping you from receiving the
new and wonderful things that Jesus Christ has for you!
Isaiah 43:18-19 says don't focus on the past, focus on God and
the new things He will do for you.
That was the theme for the first service in 2008. We wrote on a piece of paper all
of the "dead" things in our lives that would keep us from receiving the "new" things
that God has for us. Then we put them to rest in a coffin. Then I took home the
coffin and burned all of the "dead" things in the fireplace!
The "dead" things that we burnt in the fire were:
- My negative past
- Stop thinking about my bad past and think about the future that Jesus has for me
- Stop thinking about being raped
- Let go of drugs and other irresponsible things that I did in my past
- Forgive those that abused me physically, sexually and mentally
- Let go of how I hurt those that I loved
- Losing my virginity with someone I didn't love
- Stop thinking about my ex-boyfriend
- Stealing from my parents
- Taking my Mom's car
- Smoking pot
- Me being in foster care
- Thinking that nobody cares
- Me out on the streets doing things that I was not supposed to be doing
- Bury all bad memories that keep repeating in my head
PRAISE THE LORD! ALL OF THESE THINGS FROM OUR PAST HAVE BEEN CONSUMED IN THE
FIRE, NEVER TO RETURN! NOW WE ARE READY FOR 2008 TO BE GREAT AND WE ARE EXCITED
ABOUT THE GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS THAT OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS GOING TO DO!
